It was another great open event for Northamptonshire support and day services at Workbridge on Thursday 26th September!

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the open event on Thursday 26th September. Over 20 organisations exhibited at the event, hosted by Workbridge. Organisations included NASS (Northamptonshire Adult Social Services), The Local Offer, NHS Learning Disability Service, Teamwork Trust, The Beehive, Voluntary Impact and the Suncare Centre.

75 visitors came along to find out more information about the support available for people living with a mental illness, brain injury, ASD and learning disabilities. They were joined by the adorable Henry the hedgehog, an African pygmy hedgehog, part of the Home Grown Care Farm CIC. Henry proved a hit with everyone!

The open event was an opportunity to meet organisations across Northamptonshire face to face and discover the services available to you within the county. Our own team at Workbridge also presented tasters of the vocational workshops we run each week, including – the garden centre, textiles, woodwork, coffee shop and ceramics.

Becky Phillips, Service Manager at Workbridge said:

“It was great to be able to showcase the brilliant services that are available across Northamptonshire. We hope that the attendees found the event informative and we look forward to welcoming you again at next year’s event”
